The missing TV Cut scene contains Bud and Jill at the security counter with Mr. Garrett. Mr. Garrett tells them he heard there were a lot of drugs involved with the murders. Bud responds with, "Drugs. That's what's wrecking society."

It is not included in the AMC re-mastered TV Cut. The Shout TV cut is essentially the AMC re-master of the original TV Cut that premiered on television in the mid 80's. The AMC re-master corrects the color timing of the extra scenes to match the color of the theatrical scenes, but omits the scene of Mr. Garrett, Bud, and Jill.

The hospital scene with Michael in pursuit of Laurie Strode is one of the best segments of any horror movie ever made. It makes up for any shortcomings in the film (a few) and should be the definition in any dictionary under the word 'fear'.

I always thought it was corny as hell. And had waaay less impact than Michael simply walking out from behind the Wallace house and across the street towards Laurie trying to get in to the Doyle house in the first movie.

Plus it's all over the place continuity wise. Especially when Laurie finally gets out through the elevator and she can suddenly run at full pelt. Her sedation and her injury were magically cured by passing through the elevator doors apparently.

like I said shortcomings. But the scene still works wonders for me. Love it.
