The 60.25GB file is the Director’s Cut. Game+DLC - PS5
There is also a 7GB file available to download for the PS4 DLC bonus content.
I downloaded both. Then deleted the PS4 game + Bonus Content.

As for the actual Native PS5 game, I’m a bit shocked how much more better the game looks running Native 4K on a 4K HDR TV than the 1800p alternative.

So people on these boards that say they don’t see a difference of resolutions higher than 1400p, well, here is your chance to do simple side by side comparisons.

But it is pretty generic in story and combat though. Even though it is really fun.. some people might be bored doing the same quests over and over.. the dlc kinda the same, just new stuff. I beat all the dlcs quests and boss and didnt really feel the need to finish the rest this time after platinum.

83% Metacritic is fairly scored IMO. I think that’s what it deserves tbh. Even I gave it an 8.5/10 on my initial playthrough.

Probably bug fixes. Most YouTubers who got the early access to Iki pointed out them in their reviews but the only issue I’ve noticed is the loading bug when browsing outfits. )

More variety in the side quests besides the really good side character ones is one thing, and not randomly having certain things you're supposed to find not marked so then you have to go searching all over for something when most stuff is marked.

Don't get me wrong. I still thought it was a pretty good game with a fantastic finale, but I'll never be in the camp that thought it was maybe the greatest open world game of the generation.

Have had a good chunk of time playing the new expansion on the PS5 version.

1 thing I noticed that I have not heard others mentioning online is the improvement of Jin’s character animations. The PS4 Pro version as good as it looked, had stutter/frame timing issues specifically on Jin when you move his character on foot, not in combat. The BC update for PS5 didn’t address this when they added 60fps.

So far I haven’t seen this issue on the Native PS5 version.
I didn’t check the PS4 Pro version on PS5, so maybe that got fixed before this release.

It's possible that, just like the reason why the lip syncing can only be done on the PS5 version, the improvement for character animations is because of the PS5 as well. It's a thought at least.

Anybody else having an issue with Iki Island? I get so far and unable to continue. I've watched a video on how to continue. But, my guy won't jump or run.

You need to complete Act 1 and get to the middle part of Tsushima in order to access it.

Not sure if this applies to your case but 2.06 released today which fixes some sort of Iki progression issue.

Fully agreed with you it looks better overall, smoother in motion, etc. That said I forgot how to play so have not gone to the DLC until I feel like a badass like I used to. Deciding if I want to do a new game plus or start a temp file to just learn the controls again.

I felt exactly the same way. I just started a NG+ and went from there. It worked out for me since I was waiting on a PS5 update to do the NG+ trophy run. It took a bit but I feel like a badass again.

ooh nice. Maybe I'll just do NG+ start to finish. The game teaches you well as you go along and I'm probably too old and incapable to pick it up faster at this point. Especially the flow of switching stances between each enemy, I completely forgot that part

I don’t care for the new optional target lock system but have swapped to Melee in controls which makes your light attack R1 & heavy R2.

Your throwables get changed to square button & interacting gets changed to triangle.

Very easy to get used to that change & yep, it does help with combat since you have full control of the right stick. Standoffs are assigned to holding R2 instead of triangle button.

Sony Japan has posted a Tweet revealing that a bug in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is causing the fundoshi armor to disappear from player’s inventories. This issue is now occurring after a patch that was intended to fix several bugs was released.

The patch in question did fix several bugs, such as instances where players could not proceed through the game for various reasons. However, this new issue has arisen. The Tweet reveals that the fundoshi armor related bug in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut appears for users who have carried over save data. The developers are currently working on a fix to resolve this issue.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is an extended version of the original game. It comes with the Iki Island expansion and the base game, along with other additional content previously sold through the original release of the game. Additionally, the PlayStation 5 version of the game features Japanese lip sync, which was missing from the original PlayStation 4 release.

Leading up to the release, Sony shared a trailer highlighting the Iki Island expansion. This included a look at new story content and entirely new environments for players to explore.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is immediately available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
