He didn't take the medication the way he was instructed. No doctor would prescribe all of these drugs at the same time, and instruct him to take them all together.

* Alprazolam or Xanax, prescribed for anxiety and panic attacks
* Temazepam or Restoril, prescribed for insomnia
* Doxylamine, an antihistamine over-the-counter sleep aid sold in the U.S. as Unisom

I see, I didn't know that much about it. It seems that whilst it wasn't suicide he had several problems beyond what I was aware of (i'm not judging him, I know what its like having such problems [though I personally use mediacation as an absolute last resort]).

I personally have had problems with insomnia in the past and it can literally drive a person mad trying to get sleep and not be able to. You would be surprised at the thoughts that go through your mind when your sleep deprived. Not to mention the other psychological effects it can and often does have on you.

I have also suffered from Insomnia and understand to an extent what it is like (I also have severe OCD), I just wasn't aware that Heath apparently had so many 'problems'.
