I hate to tell you this but your Blu-ray player is obsolete, it is very slow when loading BD-J content and will probably freeze in some BDs that take up a lot of memory like Terminator 2. Also this Blu-ray cannot seamlessly branch scenes perfectly there will be a pause/lag when that that happens. Anyways just get a better Blu-ray player.

Hi there!

I was with the same problem that you but I have a PS3 instead.
My PS3 died after I tried to play this movie. Exactly as you, the image was frezze and then black screen.

I was refused to think that this did happen by this disc, but the more I think the more I believe it.

I had my PS3 in excellent conditions and I only used it for play movies. I was so angry last weekend because of this.
When I did contact Sony for this problem, they told me that the cost for fix this problem will be $2,990.0 MX pesos ($221.50 dlls.)

Sounds like this T2 release from Mexico terminated those two players, the Samsung and PS3 players mentioned above. (Sorry guys, couldn't resist).

Seriously though, I hope this doesn't become a widespread problem with this release. Thanks also vamwolf for the pics. I wish they would have put some artwork inside it. This steelbook looks like it will be the same all over, with just the paper back being specific to the country of it's release. I've seen this done with other dvd steelbook releases. It would also explain why this one is getting so many releases worldwide.

You see Mr. B this is a really good reason for keeping our Steels sealed.
Maybe the Mexican flu took over that Steelbook and kill our Blu-Ray players.

I'm just kidding here, I'm sorry for the folks who broke their players over that Steel.

Cheers,
Gui.

Just so it's known, I've played this just fine on my PS3. I selected Australia as my region so the menu's would be in english. No issues at all playing the movie though.

I'm wondering if this is a world release with different paper backs attached to the same SteelBook cases. But European releases are reportedly region B only. I wonder if that really is the case.

mediadis is saying they are region AB, so I am not sure. The Mexican version, they used Hot melt glue to attach it to the steel...horrible. Little trick is to use rubbing alcohol, removed the hot melt

are we talking about the steelbook or the disc itself?? they are 2 separates things. I think there's only 1 SteelBook all over the world BUT each country have it's own disc.
Spain and Portugal shares the same disc edition with Portuguese subtitle (maybe along with Italy, Netherland, etc..) It comes with subtitle: Inglés, Castellano, Italiano, Portugués Brasileño, Holandés, Finlandés, Noruego, Portugués, Sueco, Danés, Mexicano.

WTH!!!! I can understand that Portuguese have 2 variations/exceptions Brazilian and European Portuguese, BUT Mexciano language does not exist!!!, Castellano is for Spain and Español is the one for México when it comes to differentiate both languages; at least they put the x an not the j (as used in Spain/Europe).

Who the hell is designing this information!!!
