As you can see in my gallery I have bought new floorstanding speakers and some people have suggested that I spread them out further, which is what I've wanted to do anyways, but I've been lazy about it.

Finally moved the speakers and moved my electronics rack over to the right just 10" maybe? And in the process it twisted the HDMI output to its side because its the thickest HDMI I could get from monoprice and it runs thru the wall thru the hole right behind the receiver. I've tried everything I could to fix it but it looks like theres 3 pins bent/pushed into the receiver's HDMI output. All of the HDMI inputs work perfectly and I'm playing audio thru them because they weren't touched. I bought this from Circuit City back on 7/18/08 so its under warranty, but I'm not sure if they'll cover it since it is user's fault.

What is your suggestion?
1. Sell this 805 to somebody that can fix it, and buy something else?
2. Sell this 805 to somebody who only needs component output, and buy something else?
3. Send it out to get fixed(price?)?
I experienced the same damned thing with my monoprice HDMI cables. Thinking that the nylon(?) jacket, thickness was the best way to go, I never considered the effect it's rigidity would have on the connection when you need to pull/push your components. I ended up replacing my HDMI cables with the cheaper more flexible kind (purchased for $3 a piece) which work just as well. I also purchased an "L" shaped HDMI connector from BlueJean Cables (about $8) which relieves the stress on the one remaining thick Monoprice cable.

However, my HDMI 1 input on my Pioneer Elite Receiver is broken pins look bent compared to other HDMI inputs (all other HDMI ins work fine). I called Pioneer and explained that the HDMI 1 is not working and after referring me to an authorized service center, through the phone, they said it could be a bad HDMI board or a simple broken connector, both of which are covered by the 2 year warranty. Sucks that I now have to disconnect everything, and do without the receiver for probably a few weeks.
