I ended up replacing my HDMI cables with the cheaper more flexible kind (purchased for $3 a piece) which work just as well. I also purchased an "L" shaped HDMI connector from BlueJean Cables (about $8) which relieves the stress on the one remaining thick Monoprice cable.

However, my HDMI 1 input on my Pioneer Elite Receiver is broken pins look bent compared to other HDMI inputs (all other HDMI ins work fine). I called Pioneer and explained that the HDMI 1 is not working and after referring me to an authorized service center, through the phone, they said it could be a bad HDMI board or a simple broken connector, both of which are covered by the 2 year warranty. Sucks that I now have to disconnect everything, and do without the receiver for probably a few weeks.
Just called their service center which is in NJ(1100 miles away) and they said to just send it in and its covered under warranty. What sucks is that it's going to cost $60 or so to ship it because of its weight and insurance and ship confirmation. So, I think I'm going to send it in and maybe buy a different HDMI.

I don't know if I could get away with a thinner HDMI because its approx 25' that I need and thats why I bought the thickest one you could get.
