Does every music/rhythm game from Activision has to have 'Hero' on every brand?

I want to see how the game plays before I get it. If they do this right, this could be a lot of fun.

Oh, that's nice. Maybe if I'm working at Activision, I'll make a game called Violin Hero or Piano Hero while I'm at it.

Rap, personally is my most hated genre in the music world, but this game looks interesting. Thanks, Derek!

Just a note, but the projected price is available on this game. You'll get the game plus the required turntable controller for $120 USD (GameStop/USA) or £99 GBP (HMV/UK).

I'm pre-ordering DJ Hero Renegade Edition. I'll play it for a while and if I don't like it I'll sell it on eBay. At first I didn't like Guitar Hero because I was horrible at it but then I got used to it. So maybe that'll be the case again.

I have a feeling people don't like this, or the sound of this because "DJ" is automatically rap music. But it's not all rap, and it's nothing like Soulja Boy or any horrible rap "music." As usual, I don't know who a lot of the people are

is there any news on the sku prices for the standalone turntable instruments? id like to know if they sell the 'special' case/stand seperately also but i doubt it. looking to get an extra turntable along with the standard package and wanted to know the prices. i may be better off waiting for a 3rd party turntable as well.

This game will be awesome if only for the fact that most popular songs today are of the pop/hip-hop/rap variety (no offense rock fans) and the weekly DLCs can include all the recent hot songs.

This also why I'm looking into Dej Jam Rapstar... I love hip-hop.

i find this refreshing as well....i have been debating if i want to pick it up with AC II coming out and MW2 and FORZA 3.

will i have time to play this is the real question? answer is probably not...so i will wait for a price drop on this before i pick up. this is a definite purchase for me. but there are sooooo many great game out or coming out.

considering i used to DJ.....no its not like DJ'ing...but it was still fun and i like the music selection...i'm tired of rockin out and want to try something new.

in the wake of Uncharted II and MW2 soon to be here....i'd rather wait till i had some time to devote to this thing. cuz i know it will sit for a very long time once MW2 hits.
