They definitely got stock as they shipped mine two days ago.

Are the 1080p blu-rays the "new" discs though, with the commentary on GB2 and the "fan commentary" on GB1?
It seems bloody impossible to get actual info anywhere!

Those pics are so sexy! Cannot wait to get mine next week!

I doubt it will be easy to replace. I posted this a few pages back which is the unboxing images from the CEOTTK 4K box set from Sony. The guy had to rip the box apart just to access it.
https://www.highdefdigest.com/blog/c...-set-unboxing/
I figure the Ghostbusters box will be similar to the CEOTTK box set that dropped a few years ago in terms of electrical components and battery.

Who knows?? Hopefully not. Could still turn up someday I guess. But I'm not sure why they'd still be holding anything back now either. I don't have the previous set, so I don't know if Aykroyd mentions any of them in the commentary.

Got mine from Best Buy today. The outer packaging unfortunately has some major damage in the bottom corner. Thankfully I ordered an extra copy elsewhere just in case this order didn't get fulfilled or arrived damaged(and it looks like my fears were justified). That should arrive in a few days.

I guess I'll just return this one to Best Buy on Tuesday for a refund unless these come back in stock and they can replace it.

Amazon still says mine is arriving Tuesday but hasn’t shipped it yet. Call me skeptical.

Was everything actually shot for that scene though?

I feel like it’s no coincidence that the scenes included in the montage are not apart of the new cut footage. Either they discarded the parts of those scenes that didn’t make it into the film or they simply lost them. Same with the Liberty island scene at the end. A far away shot is included in the film but still not on this new release.

Exactly I mean I don’t think they’d go out of there way to give us 19 more deleted scenes and not try to find those scenes too. so they’re ether lost never fully filmed or they were tossed out years ago. it’s really looking like too me too be the case.

The scene on Liberty Island is one thing, there can't have been too many takes or angles of that (was it a fully scripted scene or was it just shot as a mute bookend for the credits?), but the possessed Ray sequence would've required a lot of setups and separate takes of the individuals inside the car plus second unit shooting the various exteriors of the car haring through the streets, no-one's ever explained whether it was all actually shot or whether they got a few bits here and there and then scrapped the scene.

So your saying the reason some of the deleted scenes if not all of them that aren’t on the new set might be because they were never filmed at all?

Obviously bits of them were, but enough to make up a full sequence? Answers on a postcard please.

If it doesn't ship by tomorrow, we storm the warehouses Monday morning.
