When you are doing a Firmware upgrade you don't want a drop connection, it will leave your Player as a Door Stop. You could use something like Power Line Ethernet. It has two Adapters, and they plug into Power Outlets one near your Router and the other near your Player. You use Cat5 Patch Cables. Running Ethernet throughout the house is best.

too much hazzle i just gonna wait till sammy 3600 or lg 390 to drop around mid $200 price range they had build in wifi
