They also carry a huge selection of used CDs, vinyl, books, games, and electronics. The store is so large they have two entrances, and two sets of registers. Taking the time to look closely is really beneficial since there's so much stuff and shoppers tend not to put stuff back in alphabetical order. Funny thing is, with all that inventory, I rarely find any Kino titles. Perhaps they hold them for website orders.

Vintage Stock also operates a chain of stores named "Entertainment Mart." There's a huge store in Springfield, Missouri. They are exactly the same as Vintage Stock (pricing, labels, discounts) and they run the same sales. I don't find Kino discs among their inventory, either.

This coming weekend all the stores are holding one of their Buy 2, Get 1 Free Sales. Three or four times per year they have Buy 1, Get 1 Free sales. That said, Kino's in-house sales are always so spectacular that they're virtually unbeatable. I prefer to order directly from them and thereby increase their sales figures and bottom line, so I can support potential future releases from Kino.
I’m surprised that you don’t see many Kino titles. In fact, I remember after Kino released “Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid” the slipcover edition sold out online quickly, and I remember a few people on this forum lamenting that fact, then a few weeks later I was in the Topeka store and they had not one, but 2 copies with slip. Maybe the Kino titles just sell exceptionally well in Topeka.

What if it's a horror film with Bing? (Although it may not be available).

Dr Cook's Garden. Very nicely done performance by Bing in that one. That'd be a definite pick up for me too. Never available on any home video format ever.

The audio for Madhouse was noticeably out of sync, so it should be pretty easy to figure out which one's the good disc.

The Outer Limits episode (Soldier) audio was less noticeable, it had a fluttering sound throughout, the fixed ones sounds fine.

And hopefully someone else will release them.

We would need the film elements and not just a worn out print.

And like I said the only one we would be interested in releasing is The Great Lover.

Hoping some 3-D titles go up for pre-order before the sale ends! I did find a couple more things I want, but, hitting that free shipping minimum is nice.

We've sold them the 4K releases of MAD MAX, THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, HANNIBAL and a couple of others.

Kino Insider - You mentioned there being 3 former Twilight Time titles in the MGM deal. Are you able to say yet what decades these are from? Thanks.

How close are we to confirmation of that next Uni deal and will it include as many Paramounts and/or pre-codes as the last one

Not anytime soon, we still have lots of unannounced titles from the current deal. I'm sure there'll be a few Paramount and pre-code titles.

Someone else had the same question back in January. Technically Dr. Phibes is still with Shout:

They reimported the rental inventory but it doesn't look like they will be doing any sell-through (nor adding any titles, which means no releases from the last 13 years).

Yeah, from my end problem solved because vol 1 came back in stock at Shout directly (and starting to filter down to the other sites now, appears not all have new stock yet still) so I will be able to get all the Poe cycle films after all without paying an arm and a leg. From what I can tell, they are done with vol 2 though but thats OK as I am just going to get the Kino releases of those films.
