Gone to Earth is a personal favorite of mine. Selznick recut the film for the US market and released it as The Wild Heart. I recommend you watch the Archers original version first. It's the better film, though the PQ here is not nearly as good as the Selznick cut.

Has Kino ever commented on the possibility of releasing the 1960s anthology series Thriller hosted by Borlis Karloff?

I just found out the DVD set I purchased a year or so ago is a bootleg (Apparently this is one of the best bootlegs out there, with the only way to tell being the fact that the discs are single layer instead of dual layer), not to mention that it's long OOP. I figure it will be next to impossible to find a legit set at this point, and I'd rather drop the $100 on a Blu-ray set.

Hell, I'd even take a Mill Creek release at this point, although a Kino release would be much preferred. It definitely seems like something that would be up their alley, and I believe Universal has the rights to it now.

It could be because Kino previously released it on Blu-ray, and the "upgrade" wasn't night and day, only a solid/marginal improvement.

The existing DVD set didn't really do any restoration work on the episodes and seemed to use syndicated cuts of the episodes missing their preroll and next episode previews (which were instead included as an extra on the discs).

This is totally unrelated to any deal - but has Kino ever considered, or would consider, doing Alfred Hitchcock Presents? As it has a ton of episodes, it would be a weighty undertaking, but we never even got the complete series released in the US even on DVD.

The DVDs are already region free. But they're just DVDs that was the point of my question you would think a show of such importance would have been remastered but I guess universal doesn't have the interest and won't license it out.

I believe the UK releases are region free, but PAL formatted.

The Aussie releases though are apparently NTSC and region free!

I believe Amazing Stories was edited on video. In Germany, both seasons were released on blu-ray, but SD only.
