As far as Voorhees mythology, that is definitely covered in the first two movies. There is no new ground being broken on that subject until Jason Goes to Hell - The Final Friday.

I disagree in a big way on Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood. Tina's story and her crappy doctor is a good plot. The characters are pretty fleshed out. The music is used VERY well. The setting is awesome. Kane's acting and and make-up job as Jason is awesome. The stalking scenes through the woods are awesome. I love the way the woods looked in this film. I loved the opening as well. I love everything about this movie.

I agree with this as well. Friday the 13th Part III had one of the best ending chase scene in the entire franchise and genre for that matter. Everything that occurs in the barn between Chris and Jason is cinematic gold.
