I used to be one of the New Blood haters but, having watched the box set all the way through three times since release, it's grown on me (like a fungus, LOL). I still hate all the characters except Tina and the "good hunk next door" but it finally breached my defenses and I accept it as a decent, if unexceptional, entry. Still think Jason Takes Manhattan is hot garbage. It gets worse every time I watch it.

Also, The Hills Have Eyes, Part II is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. No, I am not kidding. I adore that flick. Pure fun with great atmosphere.

Even Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X are better than Hills Have Eyes 2 because many of their ideas might be bad, but at least they have some ideas.
