I was hoping they'd finally release The Last Dinosaur to Blu to tie in with a upcoming dinosaur movie, but they already announced the June slate. Maybe we'll still see it later this year.

The Devil Doll (1935)
Mark of the Vampire (1936)
The Walking Dead (1936)
The Return of Doctor X (1939)
with Humphrey Bogart!
Phantom of Rue Morgue (1954) in color and 3D

...provided of course WAC has good elements to work with.
PHANTOM OF THE RUE MORGUE in color and 3-D tops my list of Golden Age 3-D Classics yet to be released on Blu-ray that I really want, along with SECOND CHANCE in color and 3-D.

Criterion is rumored to have the former and perhaps the latter as well. Frankly, I'd prefer to see them come out thru WAC, because Criterion takes too bloody long.

Did they find an original negative? Last I heard was that the original negative was missing, but was most likely in Japan.

My most wanted at this point are

• Queen Christina [1933] (Rouben Mamoulian / Greata Garbo )
• The Year Of Living Dangerously [1982] [Peter Weir/ Sigourney Weaver, Mel Gibson)
• The Wind [1928] (Victor Sjöström / Lillian Gish)
• A Summer Place [1959] ( Delmer Daves / Sandra Dee, Troy Donahue)

I have faith they'll see a release eventually, as I think all are on WB's radar (if not already sitting in the "we're getting to it eventually..." pile at Criterion, as the Wind has been rumored to be for a while now).

As was said earlier, WB's catalog holdings are so vast, there's plenty of stuff they could release that would put a smile on my face apart from all these.
In the meantime, I feel plenty fortunate that so many all time favorites have already been released and are on my shelf now. Enough to keep me busy while I bide my time waiting for the rest.

I know nothing, I just figured they would be able to work it out at some point. I'll keep on hoping.

I made my WA Blu wish list on Letterboxd. I'm not 100% sure if everything there actually is still owned by Warner.

I couldn´t find where he talked about "Telefon". That´s so hard to get the right spot of the audio.

I'd love Phantom Of The Ru Morgue, it's such a blast, & it doesn't have to be 3D, in fact I haven't got a 3D telly. I hope the fact that it's supposed to be 3D doesn't stop a release.

I popped in my old DVD of Mark Of The Vampire/The Mask Of Fu Manchu (from the Legends Of Horror set). Vampire plays fine, but Fu Manchu won't start (well I did get it to play from chapter four onwards), so time for a Blu-ray release methinks.

It would be a dealbreaker for me if POTRM was released without a 3-D option. Saw this as a kid in the 70s on TV in 2D and have been waiting my whole life to see it in 3-D.

The Last Dinosaur is a strange one. Something seems off about it. I forced myself to watch it a second time and it was still...odd.

In spite of some of their titles practically crying out for UHD like Ivanhoe and Brothers Grimm I’ll take a beautifully mastered bd from them that rivals 4k vs. a studio UHD with corners cut and all kinds of other issues.

I second the motion for every title in the last two pages of namechecks. Chiefly among them the two remaining Lewtons, the other classic horrors from the dvd boxset, more Flynn and Bogie titles, every Curtiz and Walsh film, more gangster classics, Arsenic and Old Lace and I am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang.

I’ve only seen a clip of Phantom and it doesn’t even have a dvd release in the US. Any version would be wonderful to see.

The Legends of Horror set is unfortunately another one with disc rot issues. And the double feature discs themselves cause major issues on sets like this and Film Noir v4 or Forbidden Hollywood. The archive repress has the same contents or you could go for the MGM horror legends laserdisc boxset that originated the masters on the dvd set. Only Doctor X and Return of Dr X were added to those four.
I really hope all these titles can get upgraded to bd soon. The Mad Love BD is a staggering improvement in picture and sound which doesn’t always happen.

The last time I saw PHANTOM OF THE RUE MORGUE was on "Dialing for Dollars" in the early 1980s on a 19-inch TV. Definitely time for a revisit, I'd say!

The announcement that would make me faint immediately would be a non-horror Lewton set with the uncut Youth Runs Wild/Dangerous Age somehow in existence.
Actually being the geek I am even a dvd-r archive release of Youth Runs Wild and Mademoiselle Fifi would have me jumping for joy.

I\d like more Errol Flynn on Blu.
The Dawn Patrol
Gentleman Jim
The Adventures of Don Juan

I'd also like The Adventures of Marco Polo with Gary Cooper.

In addition I’d love a 3D animated short collection with the Bugs Bunny and Popeye shorts amongst others, maybe the newer 3D looney tunes that were spread across various 3D releases.
