Your comment "Wait, what? Seriously? It seemed like that would never get a release". it seems like you took his word for it.

Kino Insider - Is Number One with a Bullet the last new-to-Blu 80s action film in the MGM deal? Thanks.

Really intrigued to see what this is, given I can't think of many remaining 80s MGM-owned action films with a DVD release. I came up with:

Roadhouse 66
Viper

Not sure if one can classify Crack House as an action film, but I'd love for it to be included in any case.

It's not Cannon, but it is MGM, 80s, action and previously released on DVD. And will be announced this coming week.

That's a shame to hear on both counts. I think its one of the great unseen movies of the 70s.

Not sure why you felt like you needed to make this statement after my question. No one is wishing him an early death so The Keep can get a Blu-ray. I'm just curious what happens after he passes when it comes to a film getting an HD scan when he prevented that while he was alive.

KinoInsider said there were 3 films from 2000-2010 they licensed from Paramount. Tropic Thunder makes one, any guesses on what the other 2 could be? Here's some I'd like to see:

-Enemy at the Gates
-The Italian Job
-Minority Report
-Road to Perdition
-The Ring
-Team America: World Police
-Babel
-Zodiac
-There Will Be Blood
-The Lovely Bones

I'd like Domestic Disturbance (also Red Eye, but I reckon Scream have probably got that).

I guess Mann blocking The Keep wouldn’t be so bad if he was making more movies. One completed feature in the last 13 years

I believe that is just contractual, same as control over any other marketing materials.

"DGA rules apply to living directors" isn't an ambiguous answer.

Ok, never said anything about his response being ambiguous. I was curious, I got my answer, but also got a response about wishing Michael Mann to live to be a 100 when all I wanted to know was what happens when he passes. I guess I should have said "I was" curious in my follow up, but I understood their response.

What a shame. I think it’s one of Joseph Losey’s very best
