Their in-store inventory on the website is often incorrect and unreliable, especially for movies. If you stop in your local store, you'll likely find them there.

My store has 100 movies in stock, but they have 11,000 available online. I'm not interested in driving to stores when ordering online has been the best option for me for over a decade now. There's really nothing local about buying online from a huge company. That's all I was trying to point out.

Unless something has changed, Target does not price match their own website. Some deals are online only.

Never once run into that issue at Target at least on non clearance items or a few weird BF deals

Target will definitely match prices on identical items from their own website. You don't even have to go to Guest Services, the cashier will do it right at the checklane.

They won't necessarily match offers (for instance, if a B2G1 sale is online only), or allow price matching on top of other deals (like during a B2G1 sale).

ok I went with your suggestions and ordered from target because I had a 14 dollar credit. I have had terrible luck with Target shipping wise. I am giving them one more shot. Went with Dune, No Time to Die and Suicide Squad. I hope I get some slipcovers.

Stopped by the closest store this afternoon. I was also concerned with the "When purchased online" clause, but all of the ones that were in stock at the store were marked with sale signs. I picked up No Time To Die, and Halloween Kills. It doesn't look like any of the local stores have Jaws in stock.

Lucky. I just completed mine a few hours ago, but I did not get another offer. Already received my $25 bonus, from making my 4 $60 purchases.
