Yea, that is what I was referring to. For example, see Strange Days below. When you reverse the artwork (like you would with a Shout or Arrow disc), the cover is exactly the same, except the ratings logo is removed.

To be fair, I kinda get where Duke is at. With US releases, I’m really annoyed by the Rotten Tomatoes labeling and blurbs on the front covers from critics I don’t know and frankly don’t care about. Or obstructive banners on the front telling me supplements or some such. I even find the blu-ray banner annoying, yeah I know this is a Blu-ray. Ratings logos bother me too. And if you wanna know really insane? The Arrow logo and Criterion C used to really set me off. It’s funny thinking back on it all.

As someone who was medically diagnosed with OCD, I’ve tried medicine and it hasn’t worked at all and sometimes made it worse. I’ve had a lot of success with ERP though. It’s been a genuine lifesaver because none of the things that used to bother me are issues anymore but it took a couple of years to reach that point and a real desire to improve the QOL situation.

And that’s all I want to say on the matter because this is veering so far off course.

What do I gotta do to get Clue on UHD?

Doesn't the entire rest of the world use Ratings symbols. Only the US doesn't. It would seem that the US are the ones that are 'doing it wrong'

I actually have Payback and Guyver in storage as I bought US Payback after and the Guyver Canadian which has no rating logos. The Punisher and Borat are pretty important to me, and had to make a custom box for Borat, but would rebuy in a second if US versions came out.

Also, why are you still focused on this?

"Payback" is actually one of the titles that I'm hoping Kino got ahold of in the Paramount deal. I'm hoping for a 4k UHD release that includes both the theatrical release and the director's cut in 4k UHD. That's asking a lot, though.

How else would I try to understand if I didn’t ask? You wanted to be heard and I’m listening. People can focus on many things here, but if you’d rather not discuss further that’s easily said too.

I pretty much explained it and thought it was done, and then you come back for seconds. How about this? When I make a post about about say, I want A Simple Plan on Blu-ray, you don't reply with a post about the Greek release or what have you. If you want to do that for others, then by all means, go for it, but know that for ME, I want a US release and that's it.

I'd rather you not try and just do it. This is a Kino thread and I feel like you have gotten us off topic a few times in the past. I'm hoping for a KINO Match Point, which is why I'm posting about it here. If it's really important to you that I know about some international release, send me a PM instead of rerouting this thread, or even better don't mention it at all as I've made it pretty clear I don't care about international releases. I don't know how much more clear I can be.

Or he could just watch Scorsese's Aviator. Howard Hughes had OCD and I thought Dicaprio did a great job depicting the difficulties from it.

I love that movie. Another one that deserves a UHD.
