Both modes appear exactly the same. Pretty much all Kino DV discs play funky on my TV. Getting those weird brightness fluctuations again (yes I've updated my Panny lol - I have to put these discs in my old X700 for them to play properly). But this is ONLY a problem with Kino DV UHDs. ~Matt
