Cap'n Crunch with Spamberries.

Wait, what are we talking about. Oh right, oatmeal with bacon bits and chunks of sausage.

There are far too many people on the blu-ray.com that focus on the film but not the overall Blu-ray release. So, if you're going to get short and sweet, that tells me nothing.

If anyone's going to put themselves in similar shoes as Chris, then by all means, explain yourself of why you dislike or like a product and at least giving credit to the man, you actually have watched the whole disc before issuing a pass, rent or buy....because simply, if people are just going to do just that, then these opinions can easily be viewed on the search function on the thread for each movie or under the user reviews on this site.

The "critics" have spoken, so to be more accurate and pleasing feel free to flesh out your replies and tell us what you really think about the movies that you are calling a BUY-RENTAL-PASS.
Btw, I said INSPIRED by, thanks....hope to hear from you soon.

Eagle Eye is an excellent movie. Its fun, fast paced, and has Shia Lebouf!
Too late on the knowing thing, I rented it

2001: A Space Odyssey, buy that. It's essentially the same thing but way better!. Just no Shia Lebouf and it's in space.

Ip Man: A MUST BUY if you like martial arts movies. Incredible fight scenes and a good story.

Penelope - A surprise comedy that I liked. Just caught it on Netflix Instant but definitely worth watching.

Something that should be pointed out is that Chris Gore does not review the Blu-ray Discs versions unless that is the only one coming out that Tuesday. I noticed he reviewed the Blu-ray for Ghostbusters but for the other releases that week, he only talked about the DVD. Gore also bases his recommendation on the overal package so a movie with not so hot picture or sound quality still has a chance at getting a "Buy" from him as long as the extras are plentiful.

With that...

Grumpy Old Men - Buy if you are a fan. Rent if you've never seen it before. The extras are the same as the DVD, trailer only. Sound is TrueHD 2.0, like the DVD again, so bear in mind that no remixing was done for this film.

Personally, I would love Chris and G4 staff to consider Blu-rays for reviews...I know they would have to change the name but since he's so involved with the So. Cal. film festivals and he's a total cinema-freak, why not review a product that is much better in picture and audio quality. Granted, since he likes to review things that are not going to be viewed as mainstream at times, DVD's would still be fine.

Also, maybe give him more time and less interaction and talkback from Olivia. As much as she's fun to watch, she uses up his time so much that it seems they had to reduce the numbers of reviews. And Chris, if you are there, ask Morgan if she would consider growing out her bangs again. J/K

Let The Right One In - Low prioroty buy. Loved it but not sure about the replay after a few viewings.

Underworld Evolution - Low priority buy. It's nice, fun violence and gore.
