Default Sony KDL-40V3000

Does anyone have the Sony KDL-40V3000 and tell me if its any good and if you have it and seen the VU VIZIO 42 1080P can you see if there is a big difference at all between the two?

Vizio is junk, please don't even mention it in the same sentence as a Bravia.

I'm getting a KDL40W3000 delivered today. I'd recommend getting it especially if you have a Blu-ray player that will output 1080p 24fps mode.

Now that costco is selling it I plan on getting the Sony, I just wanted to know how much better it was over the Vizio because the sony is $650 dollars more than the vizio and I was wondeing if the difference between the two justified the $650 dolars.

So since this tv has 120mhz and that 24fps it will be able to produce the 3d images when that mitsubishi player comes out, and does anyone know when it is supposed to come out?

The KDL40V3000 looks like a good solid unit with only a couple features less than the W series but for less money.

You made a good choice. I wanted the extra colour range as I'm getting into HD camcorders.

Trust me man, it's definitely worth the extra $650. I bought a 32" Vizio from Costco but it was the worst piece of trash TV I have ever laid my eyes on. I mean I'm not a fan of LCD (needed something slim for the bedroom) but this was pure crap. I paid $350 extra and picked up a Bravia, and while it can't even touch my XBR960 tube with a 50 foot pole it's still miles ahead of the Vizio both in picture/sound and operability.
