Black Hawk and Departed would be two excellent movies to add to your collection, you wouldnt regret it.

Count me in as well. I'll pick up at least two titles that day.

I can wait for Transformers. The movie was good, but not good enough to convince me to prolong the war.

I'll commit to 4 that week for sure:

Planet Earth (BBC)
Underworld & Underworld: Evolution - (been putting these off and I don't really know why)
Day After Tomorrow
These are all titles I would normally not run out and purchase and are specifically for the Buy-a-Thon.

October is going to be a big month for me. 21 must-have new release titles.

If our goal is to make an impression, we should all buy the same title for the first purchase and then pick something we want for ourselves. I'm willing to double-dip on a BD I already own. At the rate my friends are coming over to watch Blu, I can easily make the extra a gift around Christmas.

I think my attach rate is 5:2 per week. The 2 is, I own a standalone and a PS3.

I'll definitely participate. I just don't know which BDs or how many as I plan to buy at least one each week before the 16th.

As far as not buying Transformers on DVD, I guess you could say I'm in by default meaning I no longer buy DVDs at all and only purchase Blu Ray now. I also don't rent movies and will only be watching Transformers if/when it is released on Blu.
