College student working on a degree in Business Finance w/ accounting minor. Only have two semesters left.

I pay the bills by working at the local franchise of Two Men and a Truck. They Pay well and I also make very good cash tips. I work there full time summers and part time during school. (2 days a week which is about 20 hrs.)
Also donate plasma and sell on ebay. Plan on starting a franchise of 2men out west in a couple yrs.

Thought this thread could use a bump. Most of the active posters today didn't post in it last year. Maybe this time we can add what goes into our job.

I'm a lawyer. Mostly do commercial and complex civil litigation. I spend most of my time writing and researching. For me, the payoff is going to depositions, hearings, trials, mediations, etc., where the preparation comes into play. It's also getting an opinion back from a court. I've lost some, I've won some. I hated it for a long time, but now I can't think of anything else I'd rather do. Feel like I have a great deal of freedom. The court deadlines can make for lots of pressure-filled days, but I sort of like that. Makes me more focused.

really? what kind of law do you practice?

for me, i am a financial analyst at a major investment firm, i spend most of my day surfing bluray.com

but here and there, i research and resolve discrepancies in firm accounts that accept and pay out cash to client accounts for dividend and interest payments

Depending on your long-term goals, you may not have to worry about "making a living" for nearly a decade!

LOL. It's called "Freshman" by the Verve Pipe (not to be confused with The Verve).

I was a senior in high school when it came out in March of '97. Scary to think you were only ~3 when that song came out.
