I hope they don't run out! I ordered the steelbook, and of course it arrived dented (on the SIDE, which seems much harder to do! The front and back have no dents whatsoever!)

LOL same. The one they sent was only dented on the spine. Right where the black line is at.

It is beyond ridiculous that anything like that could happen to a shipped movie, especially a steelbook. Shipping protection these days is crap, but how packages are CARED FOR after the point of shipment is even more so. This kind of thing has gotten way out of hand.

They'll give you a refund and let you keep it. That's what happened when one of my purchases arrived with the case broken into pieces but they were out of stock. They made me take a photo of it first. I guess your steelbook becomes.... wall art?

I also ordered the standard edition of Ferris Bueller with slipcover during the B2G1F sale and received the steelbook. The steelbook actually isn’t that bad in person. My copy arrived in perfect condition, so I’ll take that as a sign to keep the steelbook.

So the last item of my order placed on June 11 during the last B2G1 sale is finally getting ready to ship today (Aug 4) after I approved the delay at least 7 times. So patience worked out this time.

(Posting this in case it helps anybody who might experience delays in the future)

Just opened my package up today and SteelBook? I ordered the standard edition so I could add the Blu-ray! Sounds like this was a pretty common problem.

It's OOS because they keep sending Steelbooks to people who ordered the standard edition...

I guess I lucked out based on all these previous posts….
I preordered the standard case version of Ferris Bueller (also back during the last B2G1 sale), and I received the correct regular case one (along with Cinderella from the same order)…
