I've never seen 2 Days in the Valley and can find no information on Sylvester Stallone's involvement, so would anybody care to enlighten me?

I’m not quite sure myself, but Stallone did a different film with the director, so I presume it stems from that. I guess they are good friends or Sly really likes the movie. Should be an interesting watch.

Right back atcha, Friend!

As for Joel, yeah, he's a cool guy and has no artifice about him, like you say, but sometimes once he gets on a topic there ain't no way to get him off it! Reyjg is another guy I like, he's always trying to get more smiles from others and that's a nice goal for a forum.

I had a couple of people on my ignore list just because I found their posts really annoying, but instead of seeing their posts you see that they posted but you can't read it because you're ignoring them, and I thought "Why f*cking bother?" I can just as easily scroll past the actual post as the "ignored post notification".

Oh, it's just strange to see him do a interview for the a release that he isn't even in. They didn't even get a new interview for the 4k of Cliffhanger.

Good score for Kino though.

More OOP based on previously being in the "While Supplies Last" sale and now no longer appearing on the website:

Salaam Bombay (1988)

Also I added corrections to my earlier, more extensive post (thanks for the info SanCarolina59 and MifuneFan!)

Ignore lists smack of elitism and snobbery. Not quite the same but it reminds me of an old doorman buddy of mine. He worked at a luxury apartment building that had a "poor door", which essentially means the low income residents the complex was required to house were segregated from the elites by a door built especially for them. They were also prohibited from certain areas of the building. Apparently rich folks want to "ignore" those beneath them. What BS.

I'm so glad we can still hate on elitist rich snobs and the woke brigades haven't started stopping that. They are my least favorite kind of people and I've had enough just knowing and working for them for years. I parted ways with a rich kid friend some years ago when the Chicago Bulls were at the top and putting out what is arguably the greatest team in the history of the sport. She told me her family had courtside seats, but she wasn't sure she wanted to go because she was too tired that night and was still trying to figure out if she was going to join her mother on a long weekend trip to Egypt in a few days. I just threw up my hands and told her: "Your problems! Oh the humanity!"

What happened to “The Carpetbagger’s” release? It was announced as a future release many months ago but no official announcement yet.

Marshall was a Shakespearean actor who didn't let that rule out giving a great performance in anything he was ever cast in. He reminds me of Ray Milland, a guy that never showed any signs of material being "beneath" him, instead always turning in a professional performance with all his dedicated acting skills firing. I never saw him once phone it in, not even when he was sharing another dude's head on his shoulders and riding a motorcycle. He elevated so many movies just by being a pro and not a diva.
