The larger problem with the Bronston epics is that they need to be remastered and possibly restored first. Fall of the Roman Empire was shot in Ultra Panavision, while the others in Technirama. Not a boutique in the world that could handle the costs of scanning and restoring just one of them. I wouldn't be surprised if it required intervention from The Film Foundation since these are in sort of a weird legal state unlike actual Miramax/Dimension titles.

Count me in for wanting El Cid the most, though.

Same for me regarding El Cid. A better Blu-ray than the ones available would be nice, but if the film was remastered or restored then surely there would also be a 4K UHD. With Scorsese being a big fan of the film, maybe it will happen.

Would love to see 55 Days at Peking, it is a great guilty pleasure, but I've assumed it will never be released because its unapologetic colonialism has not aged well. Still there is this:

It's a very tiny logo, but the poster art has "A Universal-International Release" in the extreme lower left-hand corner.

SCARLET STREET will be released on 4KUHD and separately on Blu-ray. The UHD release will include the HDR/Dolby Vision on 4K and a second Blu-ray of the SDR master in HD.

Yes, 4Ks of ROMAN EMPIRE and EL CID please. I don't care about 55 DAYS as it's pretty messy lousy. But the Anthony Mann epics deserve nothing but the best releases and we've been cheated out of that for way too long now.
