Count me in for wanting El Cid the most, though.
Same for me regarding El Cid. A better Blu-ray than the ones available would be nice, but if the film was remastered or restored then surely there would also be a 4K UHD. With Scorsese being a big fan of the film, maybe it will happen.

I would expect to see Cleopatra in 4K first. Oh wait, I forgot....

Would love to see 55 Days at Peking, it is a great guilty pleasure, but I've assumed it will never be released because its unapologetic colonialism has not aged well. Still there is this:

It is really 4K and then another 4K on top of that, making this secretly Kino's first 8K title. Shhh. Don't tell anybody

There might not be another release, but I still think 55 Days at Peking contains some of Charlton Heston's best acting.

I looked around, and I can’t find any ownership otherwise, so I’m guessing they may have signed another Universal deal? Either that or Paramount somehow owns this one.

It's a very tiny logo, but the poster art has "A Universal-International Release" in the extreme lower left-hand corner.

I'm confident that if it were available to them, Kino would have no problem releasing this film on disc.

MAN-EATER OF KUMAON was acquired through Paramount (Republic Pictures).

SCARLET STREET will be released on 4KUHD and separately on Blu-ray. The UHD release will include the HDR/Dolby Vision on 4K and a second Blu-ray of the SDR master in HD.

Yes, 4Ks of ROMAN EMPIRE and EL CID please. I don't care about 55 DAYS as it's pretty messy lousy. But the Anthony Mann epics deserve nothing but the best releases and we've been cheated out of that for way too long now.

No 4K???? The whole world demands Sabu in UHD quality! Talk about a guaranteed big seller!*

[Show spoiler]*Satire of typical BR.com 4K or nothing post, regardless of actual expenditures, marketing and REAL WORLD considerations by KLSC.
