When Marine Captain Bob Hyde (Bruce Dern, The Laughing Policeman) leaves for Vietnam, his wife Sally (Fonda, Klute) volunteers at a local hospital. There she meets Luke Martin (Voight, Deliverance), a former sergeant whose war injury has left him a paraplegic. Embittered with rage and filled with frustration, Luke finds new hope and confidence through his growing intimacy with Sally. The relationship also transforms Sally’s feelings about life, love and the horrors of war. And when, wounded and disillusioned, Sally’s husband returns home, all three must grapple with the full impact of a brutal, distant war that has changed their lives forever. The superb supporting cast includes Penelope Milford (Heathers), Robert Carradine (The Long Riders) and Robert Ginty (Programmed to Kill).

Are The Devil's Brigade and Coming Home new remasters, or are they simply reissues of the previous Kino releases?

Unless stated, they're just reissues with slipcovers.

I'd like to think that, given the running time + featurettes on "Coming Home", it will be upgraded to a BD50 disc, as well.

They usually specify that when it happens, so it seems this didn't make the BD50 cut.

Hence why I'd like to think that, but I did initially notice the omission from the post. If it's not on a dual-layer disc, it's hard to image anyone upgrading simply for the slipcover. Certainly not me, which I would have as a BD50. We'll see.

It's a store that handles new and used merchandise. You can sell stuff for cash or store credit. Games, movies, toys, records (vinyl), books, CDs, etc

Is Monster Squad in danger of selling out even before it streets? I'm not particularly fond of the film so I don't want to spend close to $40 on it. Tried to order a copy on Orbit and it says sold out. If Kino hadn't gotten rid of Pay In 4 and their shipping prices weren't so ridiculous for single titles I'd order direct.

It's showing available at Orbit on my end. Also $5 cheaper at Diabolik.

Now the Imprint set I have with this and The Desperate Hours is looking awful obsolete Now that Paramount has opened their vault to pretty much all boutique labels, Imprint is going to suffer from the lack of exclusivity it had a few years back.

I am late to commenting, but I am disturbed to hear this as it leaves me fretting over the condition, or even extancy, of the film assets. I hope it wasn't a casualty of the Universal fire.
