He did say he’d watch it at home with me so that’s something at least! My dad used to pull me out of school at random to go to the movies and I’d do that in a heartbeat if my son wanted to haha.

His main point of reference is the Legendary movies. We actually did a homemade Ghidorah costume the Halloween after King of the Monsters came out. But his favorite is Anguirus. We’ve explored the early films but sometimes the cheesiness bothers him haha.
You should show him these sort films Toho has been releasing.
Suit Godzilla and all. I do wish these were full length films.

I would call social services and tell them to come get the kid.

My local theater didn’t have it in IMAX, so I purchased the tickets for 4DX. I’ve never been to 4DX screen before. Decided to try it for a Godzilla film.

In terms of the big G himself this is the first time the American version of Godzilla & Japanese version of Godzilla are very similar. Godzilla (1998) vs Godzilla 2000 were very different, and Godzilla (2014) vs Shin Godzilla (2016) were also very different.

There are some differences, like bigger feet on Minus One, comically large spines, more burnt, not as chonky.

I've just watched the two official trailers but nothing else. No way I'm watching anything more before release.

I don't know if atomic breath counts as a spoiler of plot

Is this movie going to have an English dubbed (English language version) for the USA movie theater ( & worldwide) & 4K disc release? There are alot of people out there that don't want to read subtitles. A non English version will probably hurt how much money this movie is truly capable of making. Has Toho's said anything about an English version of this movie?

I highly doubt there will be an English dubbed audio track at the theater. I'm thinking there will just be subtitles. I'm sure a home media release here will have both.

I hope there are more people out there that want to see the film the way it was meant to be seen. Anyone that doesn't want to read subtitles is missing out on a whole World of movies.
