LOL those of you who don't like singing and dancing pirates should stay away, I have a feeling this means the next PoTC will be very similar to a musical in many ways.

Uh, Rob ALREADY directed a non-musical, if you recall.
As to whether we ultimately get "Memoirs of a Pirate", however...that's a bit more of a concern.
