I got it too. Don't know what to do with it. Action figures were on sale last week, movies and books are on sale next week. I literally buy nothing else from Target. I'm pretty sure there's an entire side of the store I've never seen.

At my store, the video game consoles were already behind lock and key, which is understandable, only now instead of a glass door the Playstations are behind a metal door so you have no idea what's on the other side! But the Switches are still behind glass.

Extremely YMMV and most likely an online return, but my Target had the Moon Knight 4k steel for $18.86. I left it there. East Boynton Beach, Florida store. Clearance end cap in electronics.

I went to walmart a couple weeks ago, and all their auto headlight bulbs were under lock and key. It's a modern world. (No idea how long they've been that way, but last time I went looking for one they weren't.) At least my brights are working again.

My store is like this. Definitely curbs the impulse buying as you have to get someone to unlock the door to grab (or even look at) something. Interestingly blu-rays are not behind lock and key. Tooth paste, yes. Blu-rays, no.

The lockup depends on the area.

Santa Clarita-no lockup
Vallejo and Fairfield-lock up
For both Target and Walmart

2 cities divided by the 780 freeway (approx 5 miles) Vallejo and Benicia:
Vallejo Safeway in Glencove only one entrance, Raleys in Benicia 2 entrances and wide open.

There is a sign at the Vallejo In and Out to lock your doors, take your valuables and be aware. Tells you something about Vallejo, CA

I usually go to Benicia whenever possible. My mom lives in probably the last nice area of Vallejo, but as the sign says be aware.
