Yeah, I ended up reaching out to customer service. I really didn’t appreciate them trying to say it was customer error. I think the approval delay method is baloney. Target used to among my favorite but just about every pre-order I get now is either delayed or canceled. They were nice and gave me a $10 gift card for the trouble, but I still don’t think they understood why I reached out in the first place.

Ended up getting it on digital for 7.99 last week and watched it, great movie.

I just looked at my pre order for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire 4k and sure enough there was a thing that said I needed to approve the new releases date. So that's like the 3rd time. Hopefully it goes through with the order.

My Ghostbusters got cancelled like the post above-- no warning claiming I failed to approve it. Bought as part of the last BOGO or B2GO sale they did. Pisses me off because I always approve the delay but there was no warning this time.

Add me to the list of cancelled preorders for OUATITW 4K. I always approve any delays via my e-mail, but they claim I didn’t this time which is obviously BS. I’m usually lucky with these sort of things, but this is only the first or second occasion where they’ve flat out cancelled a preorder on me.

I'm usually good at approvals for changes. I did a lot recently with a lot of the Kino releases on Target. They kept getting pushed. I think I approved Ghostbusters once (not sure), but it, along with Chinatown got cancelled. this isn't the first time either. Target can be famous for just cancelling things. Had it happen once on an item and the item was a sold out exclusive; lost it thanks to those idiots .

Nice. The Moon Knight 4k i found said "repackage" on the clearance sticker. It was the original plastic seal though, so i think they just pick random things sometimes.

I also found an online return of the slim version of the Brisco County Jr. DVD set for $20 a few weeks ago. Not a crazy deal, but i always regretted getting rid of my old one. Plus i think the original release suffers from a widespread disc rot problem.

MIne was cancelled by them also. I jus did a chat online about it and they gave me the same price for it no problem in a separate transaction. Try it and see what happens.

Thanks for the heads up, I just checked and mine had the Approve Delay button as well.

I think I'll check it in the app once a day until it ships.

My Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire 4K was canceled, but I can't be bothered with trying to get some poor CSR to fix it for me. It's annoying, but time is money. I can sit it out until the next sale, or watch it digitally when it streams somewhere.

Thanks for the tip. I did that and they gave me the discount and gave me free shipping, as I pointed out making a new order I'd no longer get the free shipping I had gotten as part of the B2G0.

Target seems so bad at pre-orders. I only tried it once with The Crow 4k pre-order during the last B2G1, but it arrived in a timely manner.

The steelbook, or regular 4K? You guys made me panic for a moment. I checked my steelbook order, and I don't have any delays to approve. I suspect you must have ordered the standard release...

NO problem-I was told couple of weeks ago that they(people on this forum) went through the same thing as I did and I just went on the chat with Target and they said OK-NO problem, sorry about that and they gave me everything that you got. We are all on the same side here!
