That’s awesome man! Love seeing more framed Stout in here. I have the same KB print framed and hanging for years. First in my condo and now adorning my home theater wall along with my other Stouts. Thanks for sharing.

That's cool, Stout is my favorite gig/movie poster artist. I have a couple of others in my office and portfolio. A nice copy of The Thing, an Iron Man variant hanging up... owned others too that have been passed along.

Nice! Stout is my favorite as well. I had a ton at one point. When I moved into my house I purged everything I hadn’t framed or wasn’t planning on framing. Only so much wall space and I didn’t get any enjoyment out of having a flat file anymore. Had to make some tough cuts but in the end I kept 8 and will likely own those forever.

Love his work as well. I have had several of his pieces over the years including multiple Kill Bill ones but sold most. The Thing is a grail piece that I will focus on when I win the lottery. I still have my Iron Man 2 metal variant that I had Stan Lee sign, had it certified by Beckett so I will probably end up selling that eventually. The highlight though was getting to hold the Kill Bill metal variant in my hands, extrememly nice, I believe only four were produced.

Wow! That KB metal is glorious, seeing that in person would be so cool. I knew it wasn’t ever released to the masses but had no idea there were only 4 made. The metal prints in general are a great idea especially when it fits in thematically with the film like it does with KB, IM2 and Drive. I only own one and it’s the Drive (cityscape version) and it’s miles better than what was printed on paper.

I believe the number was four, I know there is the 1/1 photo on Expresso Beans that was gifted to Tarantino but I believe other than that one they did a very small amount, it was either 2 or 4. I know Tyler has one and I believe one or two of the head guys at the previous Mondo got one each. Yeah the metal prints are really quite nice.

I remember when they produced the Iron Man 2 one, Tyler had me help him at D&L Screenprinting the night he went there to sign them with an etch pen and number them. Of the 65 made, I believe 35-40 went to Mondo, of that number I want to say 20-30 went to higher ups on the film, director, producer, RDJ, etc. The remaining Mondo sold only in Austin to celebrate the opening of their small little shop so buyers had to line up for that event as they didnt ship any out so it was a "must be here" to purchase the small amount they had. I want to say in 2011 or 2012 while set up at a convention in Vancouver I had Stan Lee sign mine. He was done signing for the show, I had a booth close by. His handlers knew I wanted to get it signed so they came over to my booth, one of them watched my area while the other mentioned I could go take it back with me where Stan was sitting and he would sign it. He did and he liked it very much. I had Beckett authenticate it a few years ago. I wasn't a big fan of the film, just enjoyed the rarity and artwork of the metal print, eventually I will sell it, I have plenty of stuff on my walls and more stuff waiting to get put up, I don't see myself having the room to display it. I have been offered a nice price for it but passed.

Like a lot of things, original movie posters used to be insanely cheap before everyone was chronically online. I used to pick up so many of them out of boredom online for like a dollar each, maybe up to $5 per original sheet. And I'm talking classics like Back to the Future, Child's Play, Nightmare on Elm St, etc.

The same applied to original movie promo shirts and movie props. I was collecting them for like one to five bucks max each at a time when no one wanted them in the earlier 2ks just to have some fun shirts to wear to the gym and around town. But the market has changed and stuff that was now like a dollar each can easily be closer to one hundred dollars or more.

A random couple of examples promo props I had were a Ghoulies inflatable toilet and a large BASEketball beach ball. Also had a few stand-ees. These were like five bucks each back then, but something like the Ghoulies toilet promo prop alone might cost several hundred dollars now.

Going on a slight tangent, I was interested in finding some 'non-movie' cinema posters for my so-called cinema room, as a little variety.

I have one corner that I wanted to do something different with. Originally the plan was to have Arcade Game posters for it, but it seems the only arcade game that has an official poster available here in the UK is Pac Man. There are some places doing repros of official arcade posters for other games, but they're all too small for what I wanted unfortunately.

So I branched out a little and decided to let the corner be used for any movie or game related poster. There's some interesting stuff available, such as someone doing a repro of the poster the Blues Brothers use to promote their band in the film.
But what I'd have liked most is repros of foyer posters for other things, such as screening times, cinema vouchers, concession stands etc.
I found this video on YouTube of someone who built a cinema in his garden, and he has some genuine posters along those lines -

There's a few pictures of his posters online as well.
It's proven impossible to find anywhere, even dubious eBay sellers, doing repros of these types of poster. The best I could find was some A3 size pictures from Temu which are borderline passable as smaller bits of decor.

I had a look for repros of Spook Show Posters as well, but there seems to be only one person doing them, and they're expensive and too small.

It's disappointing how little variation is available when it comes to repro posters.

Besides being in the movie poster business, I deal in a lot of official promotional gaming items. There have been original posters made for some video games that are printed in the standard original movie poster size of 27x40 inches but those are few and far between. The last one I recall getting in was the official posters for the first Destiny game but those made for a giveaway here locally at the Bungie Studios launch event for it. There were two styles made. However, lots of games have smaller styles produced from Call of Duty to Elden Ring, to Plants vs. Zombies 2, to even posters produced for games that are in development but get cancelled such as Scalebound. All of these posters, while official, and part of the marketing campaign, can measure anywhere from 11x17 to 13x19 to 24x36.

Yes, alot of the stuff you will find on eBay, Amazon, etc. are reproductions where people take the image and print them out in various sizes without obtaining a license to do so. It happens with movie posters too. If you see something on eBay and if the seller doen't specify if its an original or somethnig they made, ask the seller directly. Some will be honest with thier response, others will tell you whatever you want to hear to make the sale.
