"Make 4 qualifying purchases of $50 or more to earn $20 in Target Circle Rewards" is Target's way of saying spend $200 and we'll give you 10% off, which imo doesn't sound as good.

"Save $5 when you spend $20 on Select Beauty products": Would rather get a $5 gift card back but that's just me.

I preordered an item from Target on august 16th with a total of $44.99 but now the listing has been removed from their site.

comes up as horizon part 1 steelbook when googling. possibly a sku issue since it was marked a walmart exclusive on targets site

It’s that time of year again. Target is slowly stocking Halloween decorations for sale. I was looking at what I might be interested in buying this year.

I wouldn't be surprised since the 4K is steelbook only. I haven't seen a steelbook at Target for a while now.

There don't appear to be exclusive Target or Walmart editions, either. Gone are the days when a big Disney physical media release would have exclusive editions for all the retailers, such as special DMC art, a BB steelbook, a Target digibook, and a Walmart pin / toy / etc.

Indeed. At this point, wouldn't surprise me if Disney eventually stops releasing these altogether, or significantly reduces print runs. The death of DMC, and now DMI, along with the Company's total pullout in countries like Australia are just the beginning.

Too bad since some of us thought Iger would reverse course on home entertainment (based on his comments when he returned). But that was a fool's hope given he is singularly responsible for Disney+, and seems more intent than ever to drive Disney content, past and future, to a streaming-only option.

The steelbook is also labeled as a limited edition on the package. Depending on how limited it might be, they may not have high enough quantity to justify inclusion in their nation-wide ad.

When stuff like this happens (and it happens a lot), usually it's the cable provider at fault (like with Comcast and the Big Ten Network), but in this case it's definitely Disney.

Which is the only reason I'm seriously thinking about grabbing the free 3-month bundle trial with ESPN+. Though, I can't imagine it'll drag out more than a couple weeks when Directv has already announced a rate hike in Oct. And I won't care too much until Oct 28 as that's Pittsburgh's only monday night game this season.

I'm not much of a sports fan so I could probably get by without most or even all of their channels without too much stress, but yeah you just know the end result is the subscriptions are going to go up even more now.

Probably time for some sort of change… Off to go google that Oct rate hike…

I keep hoping any week now we will get something good!

I have a lot of preorders from various stores. Would be a pain to reorder with target and cancel those, but it just might be worth it if we get a B2G1 sale again soon!
