Well, upon checking my card this morning, the single pending charge (which took twice that amount from my available balance) from Target has now corrected to taking out $50 from my available balance once, not twice.

Still, it seems that for that period between subsequent pre-authorizations overlapping and the funds not going back fast enough from the first pre-authorization, Target held onto twice the funds.

I hope this is just the bank being slow rather than something Target plans on doing again with other more expensive pre-orders.

For people who like to budget their balance carefully, there is no need for "surprises" like this.

This can lead to people's cards being overdrawn if they happen to temporarily have a low available balance at the time something like this happens and even result in a pre-order getting cancelled at the same time.

Death becomes her 4K and Zodiac 4K are showing back ordered and Nov 5 but I’ve got no issues waiting, got these on the good B2G1 deal plus I’ve got so much shit to watch right now lol.

Makes sense. The two stores in my town all of a sudden have zero dvd/blu/4k, except for the one random dvd copy of Wizard of Oz I found. And I do mean all of a sudden... last month they both still had movies.

Those are all pre-orders. That's standard. Anything released can be returned in-store and you will see those update once we hit street date.

I had ordered a 4K from Target recently.

I checked my order page and went to "Return or Replace" just to see. The next page gave me the option to select between In-Store Return and returning by mail.

So, it appears that in-store returns are still allowed, unless there is a surprise on the next page after you make the selection. I did not go that far as I do not wish to return the item.

My Zodiac 4K is also back ordered but that’s an Oct 29 release; however it says you can still pre order so I’m wondering if Targets Website is just behind in updating their system.

Got a notice for Shocker and Addams Family Values as well as our backordered Thanksgiving. But it looks like Trick r Treat won't be in until after Halloween. It's not backordered, but it shows a delivery date of Oct 30-Nov 4 and is still in preorder status.

I would do the return to store approval online first before going into the store, because as I posted earlier, I didn’t do that and had to get manager override for refund because system wouldn’t allow it.
