The Lost World has raised blacks. It definitely needs an upgrade.

I don't like JP3 either. Only care about Spielberg's movies.

I wouldn’t blindly buy the JW Trilogy. World isn’t too bad, but it’s no Park. The other sequels leave a lot to be desired.

Eh, I'll buy that for LW's DV alone, 'cause I'm a sucker for DV. And if I get JP remaster on top, I won't even complain having to pay for JPIII, which I couldn't care less about.

Thanks. I think I'll keep the order with Amazon and see if I come across something else I want at MU that puts me over the $100 to get the 15% off and then cancel Amazon if I do.

Nope. No one will say a word about it. It's like Fight Club.

The people that receive the set early will be far too busy to put the discs in their player and even skim through it to give everybody even a rough impression. They'll have plenty of time to do photoshoots of the set surrounded by the other 50 releases of the film they own, along with their stuffed dinosaur toys holding up the set though.

And then there are the guys who give impressions and it's like they're not describing anything at all. "Looks good has big color I like it!" and the ever infallible "ughhh noisy like sandpaper I hate it" comment. Press em and they go "what??"

If you've never purchased the JP/JW movies in 4k the only thing holding someone back would be the cost, for sure. Since I own them in 4k already getting DV/Atmos alone is not worth $60 per set. If JP/JP III get a radically improved video, I'm totally in but I don't think any improvements to the JW trilogy is worthy of an upgrade for me. I'll be standing pat.

That might be giving them too much credit. Maybe it's more like being too lazy? I mean look how many Youtubers claimed the Arrow release of Inglourious Basterds was a new transfer with different grading.

Wassup guys!?! It’s your boy ImBlu comin at ya with anotha unboxing, this time of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World! I grew up with these movies, and as you can see I already own them 27 times, but this new collection is very special. Before I tell you why, make sure to smash that subscribe button and hit that notification bell so you never miss exclusive insider content that you can never hear anywhere else. Also make sure to only buy movies from my affiliate links. Anyway let’s get right to it. Jurassic Park and Jurassic World come in these 2 steelbooks that just look so great, really shiny and lots of dinosaurs all over the cover. I like dinosaurs. These steelbooks contain Dolby Vision, which is a major, MAJOR, upgrade over previous versions of the movies that did not contain Dolby Vision. They have deep, rich blacks and lifelike color as a result of the transfer in Dolby Vision. Also they contain hours of exclusive bonus content. Make sure to only buy movies from my affiliate links. Anyways thanks for watching and I’ll see yous guys in the next one. Make sure to only buy movies from my affiliate links.

...which is complete bullcrap and an instant no-buy as a result. I refuse to support lazy packaging decisions that damage the discs that we pay good money for.

With the exception of the final season, the Game of Thrones steelbook set used two flippable trays inside each steelbook, allowing four discs to be safely housed. That's how all multi-disc steelbook releases should be packaged.
