Default 300 encode better for BD than HDDVD???

I haven't seen, nor will i the HDDVD version, but is the encoded for it on BD better? I seen the bitrates as high as 26 using VC1 thats the highest i seen with vc1. Any of you neutral guys care to chime in thanks alot.

Reason i ask, is from i what i read is most of HDDVD films dont go past 10! Any true to this.
