I just saw the 3D disc of Shout Factory, and I loved it, this movie looks amazing in its original 3D format, as the opening credits come out of the screen, or many moments we see elements come out of the screen, and all the time there is depth.

Very excited to watch this on my 3D OLED. Just ordered this. Saw a review that says it has a much better bitrate/higher compression on top of the other fixes.
The SF version had a low bit rate at 25988 vs the Paramount version set at which uses the other camera eye for the 2D at 35594. https://cultsploitation.com/screensh...cream-factory/ This is one of my favorite, didn't even know this came out until today. Saw this review https://bluray.highdefdigest.com/143...s%203D%20discs. |

Saying that, the grain does seem to be significant reduced on the Shout release, compared to prior releases. Not sure if that was Shout's doing, or Paramounts. It's not a bad grain reduction, it does help the film looks a lot less like 16mm, and doesn't result in DNR type waxiness. |

So, honest assessments, please: Is the Turbine release clearly superior to the Shout release? Do the opening credits protrude noticeably further?

Are the credits windowboxed on this latest edition, like on the Shout version?

Having the Turbine-optimized 3D Blu-ray in your player is truly a dream. A lot of fun with a spooky atmosphere and super strong 80s 3D! Many thanks to Turbine for this fantastic remaster. A feast for every 3D lover in the home theater!
