I will agree. Gears of War was more fun for me than any Halo game I have played. Guitar Hero is pretty fun. Bio Shock had an interesting story.

^I didn't find anything on it either. You should write just kidding or something at the bottom so as not to confuse people. That's how rumors get started.

I didn't write it.

I think that's why ADPNIGHTMARE had

lol ............

at the bottom.

Now I could be totally wrong, but that's what I'm guessing. I think ADPNIGHTMARE was joking.

Gears of War is still going to be the best game on that system.

I think that's more personal taste. I don't think Gears of Wars is the best game on Xbox 360. It's a good game, but it's not the best in my book.

People who are bagging on the 360 for not having built-in high def support are being somewhat silly, I think. It was built and marketed as a video game system, not anything else. And for as much as blu-ray is better technology than anything else and will surely win the format war w/ HDDVD, virtually every game that gets released for the 360 has better graphics than it's PS3 counterpart, because no one wants to take the time to learn to develop with Cell technology.

If you guys want to bag on the 360 because it's been out for 2 years and has all of about 3 exclusive games worth owning(counting Halo 3), then that's cool, and I agree with you, and I think this will ultimately lead to the PS3 being considered the better system, just like last generation. But harping on them because they don't have built-in support of HDDVD is a little silly, IMO.
As a PS3 owner, I don't think I actually want the 360 to have a BluRay add-on, honestly.

You should have made it even more absurd, like a special Viva Pinata 2 Edition. The entire console is decorated like a pinata, and when it goes RROD, it bursts open and candy falls out.

I think the opinion has showed up in the magazine before. I dont think the magazine is run by microsoft. I think there wasnt an actual 'official' magazine, so microsoft just found one of the few that were out there, and sponsored them or something. Thats what I remember hearing anyway.

You're correct Halo 3 is the biggest and I never said you were a Xbox or Microsoft hater.

But from your quote it sounds like Halo 3 is the only reason to have the Xbox 360, which I don't believe it is.

If so, besides Halo3, the 360 is useless and cannot even compare to the PS3.

Blu-ray add-on so developers can start publishing their titles for the X-box on Blu-ray software. That was the point. The point that they aren't even using the inferior hddud software for games further shows the idiot decision of even bringing out an hddvd add-on in the first place.

The Cell and Blu-ray together will pioneer what the games of the future will be and everyone will be well versed on the development end.

+ when you add the cost of all the add-ons that are built into the PS3, the X-box 360 is more expensive and not nearly as advanced as the PS3.

+ all the repair issues

I don't hate the 360 at all. I'm just glad I chose PS3.

But yea as MasterXeus guessed that was made up I thought it would be clear from the *lol...... * at the bottom of my "microsoft release".

I rerouted the cell technology so I can play Halo 3 that I picked up early yesterday at WalMart because some stock boy put it out early...

I am having fun playing Halo 3 on the PS3, the rerouting of the cell technology took me a litte bit on the programming but hey it works great... I was able to decode the software and splice in some PS3 programming on the Halo 3 software. Basically I just talked to the disc and said work on my PS3...

Just thought I would throw some crap in here like some others do...

Which is exactly what the HD-DVD camp do in spades, it's an important part of their campaign.

You might find this interesting from today's "The Boston Globe" (no link provided - not free)

The Big Game - When Master Chief, Microsoft's futuristic super- soldier, arrives on retail shelves tomorrow, the real battle will be on whether the company can overcome its blunder in selling defective Xbox 360 consoles and its entertainment division's $7.3 billion loss over 5 years.

That simply won't happen, just like they won't publish on HD DVD software.

What is the point when 99% of your games fit on a DVD-9 just fine, and if they don't....*gasp* you have to put in a second disc after 15 hours!!!! Oh NOES!
