Default directv seems unwilling to help me

i am having a problem with all of the sports packages on directv. 1st of all i got C.P. so my family call directv about 30 times already about this in the last 6 month, here is my problem every night when is a game on i get a dark blue screen with the directv logo on the channel it may last half game before its tune in or the whole game. if i reset Receiver everytime it does come in right but having C.P. i have trouble Resetting the Receiver everytime a game comes on

This sounds kinda similar to what was happening with me for a while (I'm with Dish by the way). The problem for me turned out to be that my dish wasn't mounted quite right and had shifted slightly out of position enough that my signal was easily interrupted. Good luck getting it worked out.

Call Direct TV and tell them you want to cancel your service you'll see how quickly they get someone out to look at it.

they did remount the dish i month ago didnt help myself i think it the box its only happen in my room but tell told mine brother they wasnt unwilling to send me a new box even know we paid $5 a month for protection , it does come it find in my brother room

maybe a bad box

we just send back an HR21 hd dvr box.

we got a new box cause the HR21 wasnt responding. it would cut in & out of picture, reset itself.

come to find out it was a 'hard drive issue'

directv sent us a new HR22 hd dvr box for free and within 2 days!!!

Did they specify why they wouldn't change out the box for you? I would call back and ask for a manager without even getting into the issue with whoever answers the phone. If they can't help then I would ask for their boss and so on.

Don I am having the same problem with my HR 21 box, the box makes some weird noises on and off and now and then the sound cuts off and on when I am looking at a pre-recorded show..

Did you have the protection plan on your box...

I am trying to get Direct TV to replace the box but so far no luck.

call back and speak to someone else.
go thru the 'steps' with them
i told them 'i swapped hdmi cables, i resetted the box, unplugged it for a day, etc'

yes i have the protection plan.
5 bucks a month or whatever.
they should send you a new box overnighted....plus itll be the HR22 with a bigger HDD

i had the exact same problems as you are currently having

When you call Directv ask for the "customer retention" department. I promise these people will work with you. Anytime I have had a gripe everyone else is unwilling to work with me except for customer retention. They are more customer service focused.

they dont offer the NFL PACKAGE

that alone make me stick with directv.....plus anytime i call i dont take their answers. i tell them what i need done
someone coming out to realign my dish/tighten up the bolts or even running a 2nd wire FOR FREE to my dual tuner dvr box.

dont take anyones crap.....thats the american way

Thanks Don, I might be in sh** creek thou, don't have the protection plan and I bought the box from CC when they were first available..I'll have to try the customer retention department that was mention.

Dish network got in trouble out here, mostly for selling hot dishes.. it was a very elaborate scheme I remeber.. I knew some people that sold them at my school they all lost there jobs... when the manager was toted away by the police..

Employee A-F Stole Satellite dishs, Employees G-M Sold the dishes.. Manager had less overhead for the dishes...
