Onkyo TX-SR705 any reviews?

It drives gives plenty of power, the HDMI switching is very fast and has the 705 is unique (compared to the 605) in its ability to do THX and all the other surround sound formats. After reprogramming my Harmony Remote, the TV/receiver turn on in about 2 seconds whereas before it would always take me leaving the remote pointed at the home theatre for about 5-6 seconds which the TV turned on, changed source, and then set my stereo receiver source.

All I care about is being able to see the station/channel/artist/song and switching among stations which it does with ease.

Hi, thanks for that info. so are you saying about the hdmi switching that it works well? all i care about is how it works and sounds with watching blu ray movies and HD sat receivers? i know you may not have this set up, but was curious on if i am using hdmi video switching, does it would well with all the decoding for the movies? so when you switch from say cable/sat to blu ray dvd does it switch the audio for you and the video source?
