Even if we don't get a blu ray release for the original Wicker Man, I'd really like to see a special edition DVD that has...

ENGLISH SUBTITLES!!!!!!

It is very hard for me to understand the accents in this great film and I would like to be able to read along with some of the songs as well.

If the Cage remake can get a blu-ray...the original masterpiece should get one too!!!

All the past Anchor Bay/Starz blu's have ENGLISH SUBS so I don't think you need to worry about that.

Quite right, there have been a few DVD releases of this great movie, it would be nice to get a definitive version on BluRay of at least 102m in remastered form (4K scan), but using the previous audio commentary, extras, etc.

The recently deceased Ingrid Pitt once told me there were more scenes of her shot, but left on the cutting room floor; however I never found any trace of these in the shooting script.
