Got my copy from Gamefly today. Can't wait to get some gameplay in.

Also saw the it for $47.99 in the Frys add this morning.

glad to be helpful im carefully watching this thread..

On another note this morning someone asked me what I was doing up, and I was like well its only 2-3 something... click the xmb 5.20am 20 minutes till I get up to go to work...

How do you use some of these items in this game like the ingriedients or the gems and stuff, do I need to buy the recepies for poisons and potions to use them?

I had to force myself to go to sleep at like 1 or 2 am the last couple of nights, lol.

HA! me too! this game has taken over my life. BTW got a CE from my local BB, after picking up the reg ed. @ GS. Returned to GS, dude let keep the pre-order goodies to boot!

I take this entirely back. My biggest complaint is the BS boss syndrome.

A boss fight which is moderately difficult until you get them down to like, 30% health, at which point they proceed to stunlock your entire party to death.

I gave up after 4 tries of the exact same thing. And it's not like I can just go somewhere else, I'm trapped in the area, and my last save outside the area is like...5 hours ago.

Why don't any PC abilities regen faster than the stun/freeze/knockdown lasts? BECAUSE IT'D BE STUPID, that's why. sigh.

Ouch sounds like you need something that offers a resistance to that, but as you said you can leave.. hmm dunno what to say..

As far as I know there is no such thing. I'm in a place with no armor/gear, and I don't know of a "knockdown immune" talent. Is there even one?

Well there is usually an item that offers physical or mental resistance.. dunno what to say is it possible to stun then just before they perform that move.

He's in a small room and I kept getting the door shut on me so I didn't have a lot of room to maneuver. Instead of going in I shot him from the much larger room in front of him, and he ran out. Plenty of room, problem solved.

I don't think that's how the fight is supposed to go down though, I feel kinda like I glitched him. I'll worry about defeating him the "right way" in a different battle.

too be honest I think it's better than KoTOR, but as a Playstation fanboy, I never really cared for the Xbox games.

Was at Walmart today and they had 1 CE copy left so I scooped it. Just hit the surface level, where can I find all my exclusive goodies, IE Dragon Armor, the items etc? They were not in my inventory when I started.

Figured it out, kind of ticked off though. The reason I bought the CE was for the downloadable content, turns out it's not exclusive and available in the standard edition as well. Kind of a rip off.

Overall the game isn't that great, the combat is a snooze fest and could have been better and the dialog in some parts just makes no sense. Story line is interesting though and probably the only thing keeping me going.

Definitely not a must own title.
