Wow ... in seriousness though, depending how close you sit to the screen maybe you could get away with a 10 or 12-ft 4k image, a super-sharp and super-bright one.

As for people who say that 1080p is indistinguishable on (e.g.) a 32" screen, they forget that the actual cinema has a front row.
