If that's the case, I probably could roll up a ball of tinfoil, tell him that "Tommy" the one Power Ranger used to have his lunch in it, and sell it to him for $40 {hell... I'd probably be able to get more if I actually left some lunch in it} I bet he'd find that entertaining too...

I'm sure you've probably made some purchases in your time that you enjoyed but others would find questionable.

No. Never have, never will. Some folks make the mistakes, and I don't have to experience that myself to know that it's kinda pointless to do so.

Perhaps you should focus less on what he wants to purchase, and focus more on getting over yourself.

Perhaps, but then again, perhaps you should probably stop wasting your time being his personal champion on an internet forum, I'm fairly sure he can take care of himself and protect his purchase of a bracelet all by his lonesome.

He doesn't need hand-holding... but if you wanted to, you could ask him if he wanted to hold your hand, maybe you could both buy the same Power Rangers bracelet and join a super secret club.*
