i have my front 3 wired with their bi-wire cables, i have been very happy with them and yes, i would recommend them. this is my opinion based on my ears and my satisfaction with the service i received when dealing with them. they are in my gallery, as messy as my gallery is! i even do a little mentioning of them. best of luck with whatever you go with.

remember, make yourself happy, not the people here at the forum, that includes me. you'll see what i mean by this time tomorrow based on what you might see by way of answers to your post. get what works right for you and makes you and your ears happy!

I have them, and they are great. Superb sound, snug fit. Highly recommended.

Oh, and they ship quick too, so there is no reason to be afraid of your order not being honored or anything like that. Not that you are, just in case you were thinking it

I had some problems trying to order some cables yesterday evening and for some reason it kept giving me an error message saying that my billing address didn't mach up and i've ordered on the internet before using this same card.

Also the only way to talk to them is to send them an e-mail and they will call me. Well this is the way they are showing their e-mail address on their site. this is a copy and paste...support at calabrine dot com.

Well I sent the e-mail yesterday with my daytime phone number but no one called me today so I'm a little confused

Called my bank about 1/2 hr ago to make sure there wasn't any problems with my credit card and all is well.

Just tried to order and again I get this message saying that my billing address didn't match up.

if this keeps up and if they don't call me back (I gave them both my daytime and evening phone numbers yesterday) I will most likely end up looking somewhere else.

shoot, I really liked the way they look.

Well, my patience walk out the door.....ended up buying from www.infinitecables.com.

It's in Canada and the have free shipping in Canada and the U.S.A. for orders of $250 or more. So it simplified things for me being in Montreal. It ended up costing me $400 CAD instead of $750 (converted from U.S.) and they had no problem taking my credit card + they have a phone number for easy access.

I ended up getting:

8 x 3 feet
1 x 6 feet
2 x 10 feet

Thanks to all for your help but some days I just don't have the patience.

They do that so the bots that search the web for email addresses to send junk mail to don't pick up the address. This is common practice.

what they mean is support@calabrine.com

I had figured out the e-mail address and sent them one to call me, day of evening, but they never did.

Thanks for the explanation, I did not know that...it was the first time I had ever seen this.

the wires to my 4 back speakers are going in the wall just behind my receiver that will be in the front left corner and coming out in the back near each speaker and 3 feet is the smallest they had.

Okay. You had me confused. So, if you are getting these wires, what are you running in wall?

Don't know yet, the guy doing this is only coming in next week. The only thing I know so far is that it's 14 AWG and certified for in wall installation. With my HT room being 20' in length, I don't foresee any problems with the 14 AWG.

Weird, sorry you had that experience with them. Obviously I would have went somewhere else too if that happened to me. Have fun hooking up your new cables, I've always thought cable hookup was the best part of buying new gear.(aside from sitting down and enjoying a great movie on that gear! )

I do not see any benefit of using better cables if you are running something else through the wall. I do not think that that makes much sense and the best that you will get for performance will be the weakest link; in addition, the cables my not "play" well together. If you were running them through the wall (if they are designed for this) or running them on the floor, then that purchase makes sense.

I never said I was doing this for better sound quality but I will talk to the guy to see what's available in the cable quality he carries.(I presume that's what you meant). Thanks for the heads up and could you recommend good in wall cables.

It's like when someones buys a car and takes the extra chrome option or the fog lights, the car looks nicer to him but it doesn't ride any better.

I just want it to look cleaner.
