I got Kill Bill Volume 1 for my Dad for 5 bucks. But, it was a mislabeled price on Best Buy's part.

I am a huge SAW fan and enjoyed every film in the series. This is my favorite.

Bring on SAW VII in 3-D next year!!!

This is the best sequel right behind the first. This is a must buy for me.

I think they should have stopped after the first one. This is a no go for me.

I'll buy, I have all the other movies. I've only watched Saw V on Blu though. Haven't seen IV since in the movies and the rest it's been a long time.

Ive seen 1,2,3,& 6 missed 4 & 5...Went to see 6 at the movies & it was pretty good..Felt different than the rest...More story orientated to me which was a good thing. I need to go back & watch 4 & 5. Anyone heard any news on when they think it will be the last & final saw? Or do they just plan to keep going? Hey if they can do it & make money more power to them...Be weird when theres a new year with no saw movie. The first one was the best by far to me...Got me hooked! I need to buy all of these on Blu..Have the first 3 on dvd

I'll admit I was reluctant to return to the franchise after the disaster of Saw 5, but the screenwriters said they learned from the mistakes they made with the last film, and thankfully they were right. Its a major improvement over parts 4 and 5.

As far as the sequels go, I'd say this on par with Saw 2. Great ending, great soundtrack, great everything.

Can't wait to own this on blu.

The producers of the saw films said they are going up till 8. After that they will see where it goes, but for now we will get 2 more saw films.

I hope we go up to 9. so wee will have 3 saw trilogys. I

hope th last film in the series original saw director James Wann comes back to write/direct and Leigh Whannell writes the last film. They started it and they must finish their film.

Indeed I saw it and the series has gotten worse since the end of the first one.

Let me guess, you though V was amazing also even though more then half of it was flashbacks? That's fine that you like terrible movies but don't attempt to hate on someone who doesn't. Why do you think it's for sale January? Because it absolutely bombed because most people weren't stupid enough to continue getting ripped off.

Why do you keep seeing them if you haven't liked the newer ones.... Anyways I admit I was dissappointed with V, but I thought VI really energized the franchise again and I will definately be picking this one up.

I will be buying this DAY ONE FOR SURE. It really revived the series...and I don't care if it hits $29.99, I'll for sure get it. And this news isn't huge because they come out with the new SAW every year at the end of January on Blu-Ray :P
SO EXCITED

Day one for me for sure ... I just can't get enough of the series, not only do they find sweet ass ways to kill people, but they do it with style, and they have managed to keep the story continuing each time. As long as they keep making them, I will keep watching and buying them...

Arg though, I have a nice pretty 6-disc blu-ray case set for the collection, but now with up to 8 or more, I will probably need to split to 2-4-disc ones!

VI was one of the better ones to date (Besides I).

Om, I question your taste in movies. First, of all you threadcrap on a Saw thread which was actually a DECENT Saw flick. If Saw is not your cup of tea, then do not post here - it's that simple. You made your point quite rudely to the Saw fans.

Second, there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with flashbacks in a film. Look at "Milk" which is told in flashbacks. It was an Oscar winning script and a great film.

I don't appreciate being called "stupid" because I paid hard earned money to see this film on day one in the theater, so you can gladly take a step back. It's on sale in January to capitalize on profits since most of a film's money is made through home video sales.

You need to get your facts straight and quit stepping on people who like this film.

holy crap, i was reading what others posted based on what you said....i didn't even look high enough to see it was directed @ me.

what's wrong w/flashbacks?? to me, if they can make the movie intersting and move forward by telling it in flashbacks, alright, makes the movie interesting.

so u didn't like the movie, ok, u don't need to come in a thread like this and crap all over it. based on what others have posted, it has fans on this forum....i'm one of them.

i've actually enjoyed all 5 of the previous ones, yeah, some more than others, but still.

and i'm pretty sure every single one of the previous movies were released on dvd/blu in January when they came out in theaters in Oct. they've been following that pattern for the last couple.

keep on stepping. b/c opinions like yours don't add ANYTHING to the discussion.

and from looking @ your collection, u don't seem to have a problem w/flashbacks since u own memento.

I would disagree majorly with that. In fact, I think the original is the weakest film now.

Yes, it sets everything up for the films that follow. Bui it's slow because of it.

I frankly admire the series for it's story and depth. Each film adds to the tapestry of the series. It's pretty impressive to see a Thriller/Horror film have such a rich and adheared to continuity 6 films in. Usually it's jumped the shark by now. And I'm happy to keep plunking down my cash everytime one gets realeased. I love how characters grow and evolve, and each chapter opens up the story more and more. Jigsaw has gone from a fairly one-dimensional character into a villian you can actually feel for. His motivation is entirely justified, it's his apprentices that go the wrong way. Which I think is kinda cool, to make you feel for the villain.

Also, it's available for sale in January cause the window from theater to home is shrinking.

I think I'll just wait untill the series retires before picking up/viewing any more of these. By the time a year passes I forget half of the things the sequels expect me to remember, and I would probably rather just pick up a set than track down all of the individual movies.

It's way better than the recent ones (V and IV), I'd say it brings the series back to life!

The Blu-Ray will hopefully have even better PQ and AQ than SAW V.
