There is no news on Voyager on Blu-ray. Voyager (as well as The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine) were edited entirely in standard definition, so creating a high definition version for Blu-ray would require going back to the original film elements, re-editing the episodes together, and re-doing all special effects. While possible, it is not likely to happen anytime soon, especially for Voyager which is by far the least popular of the 3 Star Trek series this would need to be done for. Next Generation is more likely, but even that is not something that will definitely happen - only time will tell.

The next Star Trek series to see release on Blu-ray would most likely be Enterprise considering that is mostly HD-ready.

As much as I love some good Star Trek, Voyager just doesnt impress me as much as the other series. I would much rather see Deep Space Nine before Voyager.

I always liked Quark.

All ST will go Blu. It is only a matter of time. As mentioned, Enterprise should be next and it could come next year. As for the other 3, they are likely going to be released by production. Voyager could be 8-10 years off.

If an Amazon listing says "Sign up to be notified when this item becomes available" then that means it's just an Amazon placeholder - a page they've put up because a lot of people have searched for the item, but they don't actually have any real info on it. The Amazon placeholders don't mean anything, there is zero correlation between them and actual announced products - the product could easily never be announced.

If a distributor has actually told Amazon that the product is planned, then there will be an active preorder for it.

I'm not surprised at those numbers considering Voyager wasn't all too popular here, and the sets were an unbelievable $120+ until just last year maybe. Like actually $120 even on Amazon, not just MSRP $120.
Paramount had no set SRP on the Trek sets. The wholesale price was the same as $149.99 though.

They used to charge $14.95 PER EPISODE on VHS, so it's a bargain

As mentioned earlier in this post, there have been long threads on this topic before. The work and cost involved in restoring even a single episode is simply not feasible at this point in time. Physically possible? Yes. Realistic no.

The cost involved would be tremendous. Give it a few years for more practical solutions to become available.

I wouldn't count on Enterprise being anytime soon either

The DVD sales were....worse than Voyager (Voyager sold decently in the EU because it was the first Trek many of them saw first run on a major station)

Some first week sales on Voyager domestically were in 4 digits, so do your own math there.

Amazon creates placeholders for popular searches, notice "signup to be notified when available"

All i want is TNG, although the last 4 season of DS9 would be cool to own

I never much liked it in the first 3 seasons, I always equate the show getting better when sisko shaved his head (not the reason, but he shaved it right around the time the show found it's footing)

I have to agree that at some point in the future all of Star Trek will be on bluray. It will take quite a few years but I believe it will happen.
