I have a 100" 16:9 screen, and prefer a 16:9 screen as I watch a lot of TV and DVD on it. With the AE4000's memory save and memory auto load functions, I zoomed a 2.35 picture so the left & right sides overlap the screen a couple inches, to get a taller picture without losing any significant detail on the sides. Then used the mask feature to block the overlap out. Then adjusted the vertical height so the bottom of the 2.35 screen is at the bottom of the screen - more at eye level, and just the one black bar at the top. Saved that to memory, and now when a blu-ray starts in 2.35 AR, it just takes the projector a few seconds to load the saved 2.35 settings and adjust everything, for the best compromise for a 2.35 movie on a 16:9 screen.

One of the many reasons I decided on the AE4000! Pictures, Duke, pictures! We want pictures!
