I think you're confusing megabits from megabytes. Internet providers always quote in megabits. While that the PS3 shows is megabytes. Here is a link that you can use to convert.

6 megabits = .75 megabytes so you're actually getting more than what you're paying for.

Have your BUDDY buy the repeater and see if it benefits him. Then ask him to go halfers on your monthly bill.WIN/WIN. If it don't work your not out the $ & at least you tried.

Your right I'm getting up to 6mbps, however as I said the PS3 seems to only be averaging 2.50 to 3.10 mbps.
