I'm not a huge John Carpenter fan, but did enjoy that movie. I wonder how it would be viewed today? Has it survived the times?

It's probably been a good 16-18 years since I last saw it.

Growing up in the 80's I was a pretty big John Carpenter fan. I still think Big Trouble In Little China is his best and quite possibly in the top 10 movies of all time. Followed closely by The Thing.

I must have been thinking of someone else because I just looked up his film list and I like a lot of them. I can't for the life of me think of who I thought he was.

I just bought Big Trouble around Thanksgiving. I also like Halloween, the Escapes movies, etc. I guess I was just having a brain fart.

Lol. I used to have Quigley Down Under starring Magnum P.I. on LD back in the day. If I remember correctly, it had a killer soundtrack, for the time. Also, the always delightful Alan Rickman played the bad guy.
