We have been exchanging posts for a long while now. You are in fact my connection to the continent that holds the rest of the world on it's shoulders! And let's not forget, you are my AV brutha from down unda! So it's all good mate!

About AVS. It's not like the WYSC section was bad, because it isn't. As a matter of fact, it's probably the most civil section on the website. I really believe that the regulars there, made it that way. But I'm afraid that the posters that made the section what it was, have sort of flown the coup. Not permantly, mind you, but we surely aren't there like we used to be. And it's kind of cool to not be the main posters keeping the section alive and buzzing. Over here at Bluray, they already have the anchors in place. We can just blend in.

Thank you for the kind words regarding Todd. That was sort of a mess. It's amazing how many called out to him and offered support and encouragement.
Over at AVSForums, you would have gotten support, but it would have been only from the 1-3 posters you have really established a comraderie with. But over here, they came out of the wood work when they caught wind that there bluray brother was in distressed! Pretty impressive!

The family and I are making it. My oldest starts her second semester at University of Delaware That first semester is the test! Hopefully she will continue to at least maintain her Dean's List status. I'm waiting for my tax return and my reimburstment from UD so I can go purchase my 65" Panny and the the Pre-Pro/Rotel RMB-1095!
My youngest daughter attends a Charter School and it's challenging her! She barely passed math so we really have to concentrate on that in the second half of the school year.
Other than that, life is a blast!

Sorry for the blow-by-blow update!
I'm wishing the best for your kids. I hope they do really well

Dudes, it's Crocodile Dundee!!! What's the very first thing you think of when someone mentions Australia? It's either Crocodile Dundee or Fosters. Then maybe Ayers rock, the Sydney Opera House, Great Barrier Reef, etc.

I figured that he return to Australia after a handful of movies in the states, and continued his movie career back home! I guess not!

The ailimony that Greg is paying must be at epic porportions!

Don't worry, we have our version up here! instead of a shark, we have a tiger!

She's just turned 6. Not too worried at the moment but I'm sure the time will come quickly when I have to begin to get worried.

I'm not a huge John Carpenter fan, but did enjoy that movie. I wonder how it would be viewed today? Has it survived the times?

It's probably been a good 16-18 years since I last saw it.

Lol. I used to have Quigley Down Under starring Magnum P.I. on LD back in the day. If I remember correctly, it had a killer soundtrack, for the time. Also, the always delightful Alan Rickman played the bad guy.

Growing up in the 80's I was a pretty big John Carpenter fan. I still think Big Trouble In Little China is his best and quite possibly in the top 10 movies of all time. Followed closely by The Thing.
